The outdoors

 

Trelyn is a 1970s bungalow on a corner plot, with three bedrooms plus a guestroom/sunroom. Trelyn is to be found down Shores Lane from Rock Road, which means it is a short walk to the petrol sataion and the shops in Rock, and about 15 minutes walk from Porthilly beach.

There is inline parking for three cars in the drive. In addition, being a corner plot, there is plenty of on road parking.

The garden at the front is large enough for thre children to play, and the small rear lawn is sheltered and gives more privacy for sunbathingand for your BBQs.

The indoors:

21 Trelyn, also known as Spes, the Latin for Hope, sleeps 7 in four bedrooms plus there is a double sofabed with proper pull out mattress in the sitting room if you want to sleep another 2 people. Rooms are as follows:

Sitting Room:

Dining room with table to seat 8.

Bedroom 1: Twin 90cm beds Fitted wardrobes. Vanity basin.

Bedroom 2: 137cm Double bed. Fitted wardrobe. Vanity basin

Bedroom 3: Pair of 90cm bunks. Fitted wardrobe.

Sunroom / Bed 4: Single 90 cm bed. Desk and fitted wardrobe.

There is a family bathroom with shower over, and a separate WC.

 

The kitchen is about to be upgraded and remodelled. This should be done by the end of June 2016. There will be a new electric ceramic hob and oven, fridge/freezer and microwave. There will be a new dishwasher.

The utility room has a new washing machine and tumble drier, and also has a WC, basin and shower.

The small bedroom 3 faces south and has a pair of 90 cm bunk beds, a fitted wardrobe and a chest of drawers. The room dimensions are: 2.8 metres X 2.3 metres

How to book

 

The house sleeps 8 is available for rental all of the year.

The kitchen and bathrooms have been refurbished this winter.

This seasons 2017 bookings will start on April th 2017.

It can be rented by the week - using a Friday changeover - or we will also try to assist your holiday by booking shorter or longer periods on a daily basis.

Prices for 2017 depend on the week and the number of people, are as follows:

Prices range from £10 to £40 per person per night, when booked for the whole week.

Christmas and New Year 2018 by arrangement.

The Area:

 

 

Rock offers many activities, from aquasports and birdwatching to walkinbg, waterskiing and wakeboarding.

21 Trelyn is only a few minutes walk from the many shops and postoffice in Rock and only 15 minutes walk from the beach at Porthilly.

A few minutes more walking will take you to Ferry Point for the pedestian ferry to Padstow, so you can avoid using the car and have less worries about parking.
